Agreement

By using the Benpocket website (https://benpocket.com) or the Benpocket desktop application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the app.

What Benpocket is

Benpocket is an early-release personal desktop toolkit combining everyday developer and productivity tools — file explorer, HTTP client, Kubernetes manager, screen recorder, and screen capture — in one app. It is available to download now. Features may still be incomplete or change without notice.

Software license

The Benpocket application source code is licensed under the AGPL-3.0 license. Your rights to copy, modify, and distribute the software are governed by that license—not by this website copy alone.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Benpocket or this website to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe others' intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • Attack, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to systems you do not own or have permission to use
  • Misrepresent Benpocket as providing warranties, support SLAs, or enterprise guarantees we have not offered

Website content

Marketing copy, screenshots, and branding on this site are provided for information. They may not match a future release. You may not scrape or republish substantial site content in a misleading way without permission, except as allowed by fair use or the software license where it applies to code.

No warranty

THE WEBSITE AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You use Benpocket at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Benpocket authors and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the website or software—even if advised that such damages were possible.

Privacy

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may revise these terms as the project grows. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
